Blazing Saddles

This is the greatest movie of all time if you like true comedy and nobody does it up better than Mel Brooks and combined with Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little it was truly amazing how they pulled this one off. Harvey Korman was supurb as Headley Lamar and you even get Slim Pickens in this great Saga of cowboys and imbeciles. Truly a load of great laughs here.

This has got to be my all-time, number one favorite comedy EVER! I went to see it when it released in 1974, with my mom of all people, and I never laughed so hard! It was so risque for the 70's even!
I had a copy of this on VHS, then DVD- but my eldest daughter (I call her "The Pirate") "borrowed" it, so I had to buy another one....ta-da!
Now go get yerself some beans and sit around the campfire.....

One of the best comedies of all time! I adore Mel Brooks's movies and this may be his best one. As always Mel makes fun of everyone and everything - no one's left out. It's fast paced and the humor is timeless. You'll watch it over and over and over. 33 years later people still quote from this one!

Good strong title

All Mel Brooks films are hysterically funny, and this one is probably the best of them all. I saw this movie in the cinema 10 times and although I knew everything that would happen and be said, I still loved it every time. It was a master stroke putting the great Count Basie band in the middle of the desert.
Who can forget the campfire scene.
