The Blind Side (DVD, 2010)

The Blind Side is an AWESOME movie! A truly inspirational TRUE STORY based on a kid left to live on the streets with nothing his whole life, not even as much as ever having a bed, that is taken in by a good samaritan and offered a life-changing chance at life. Its tough to accept the many new changes, but this young man does it and in the end makes it into the NFL. This movie will be a tear-jerker for many. It is absolutely an EXCELLENT MOVIE! Sandra Bullock, Quinton Aaron, and the young son(name unknown) play AWESOME roles, and really make the movie what it is.

We only rented it, but we are now looking to buy it to add to our collection. It is definitely a movie you'll be inspired to watch time and time again. A great inspiration for all, even the younger viewers.

Just when you think all the Hollywood Producers have all fallen asleep at the wheel, someone takes a chance and makes a wonderful movie that recaptures the magic of the golden age. How many movies have you seen in the theater when the audience spontaneously erupts in applause at the end of the picture? Breathtakingly effective character development, heartwarming humor, a spotlight on real love and a solid script make this film a real standout. The casting director deserves an Oscar; every actor is a pleasant surprise. Sandra Bullock (Speed) puts in the best performance of her career along with an outstanding ensemble cast. Check your cynicism at the door; it is based on a true story of a family that takes in a homeless young athlete. Highly recommended as an inspirational family film. 4 stars

This movie was so inspirational. This is based on a true story about a young man that beats the odds of living in the "projects" and made it in life. The whole movie shows you some people in this world are more about love and caring, rather then money and wealth. The young man in the movie ended up being a famous football player. I really enjoyed this movie alot. This is 5 stars, and 2 thumbs way up. Sandra Bullock did an excellent job. Tim McGraw was also great, and most of all Quinton Aaron did a wonderful job playing Michael Oher. I highly recommend seeing this movie.

I personally like Sandra Bullock as an actress and a humanitarian so having seen the movie previews, I saw the movie at the theater shortly after its release. I enjoyed the other actors as well and like the film for the fact that the movie is based on a true story. The story shows how anyone can help another willing person not become a tragic statistic. The title was appropriate because it indicated how a blind side of one's social status or race is truly needed when giving from the heart, no matter how big or small. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and bought the DVD to add to my collection.
