Blitz: The League II (Sony Playstation 3, 2008)

Blitz is a great game as long as your not getting it for a football simulation. 30 yard first downs may seem strange but it keeps up with the arcade feel that Blitz was made for. The career mode has some depth to it as well, designing your jerseys and logo is well done. Then once you start playing there are tons of challenges like causing X amount of injuries that will award you trophies and bonus stuff. The amout of drugs that you can dose your players up with is insane and they all have there advantages and disadvantages. The injuries in this game are not for the faint of heart, when someone gets hurt the game goes into a CSI style camera where it actually shows the bones break and shatter, VERY grusome but very well done. This is the only football game I have ever played where I liked being on defense and given the oportunity to really jack somebody up.

I liked the first Blitz the League on PS2 so this was a no-braner for me. I think that the critics were way to hard on this game, I can understand not paying $60 for this but if you can get it for under $20 then your getting a great deal on a really good game.

This game is a hybrib of madden and blitz oldschool. One fallback is you can't use nfl teams but the gameplay and special effects are cool. I like the fact that when you throw a long bomb you can take control of your guy and run around you opponent and either jump or dive for the catch, that's were the madden comes in plus the game looks like madden. but you can't beat breakin bones, injecting needles, and roids hey it has a little of everything. hey at least you get lt the infamous lawrence taylor. Plus you can make your own guy.

i like this game because it has the ultimate style of hitting when it come to football games. When you hit someone hard enough it gives u a choice of what bone or ligament to break. i like that decision!

The game is awsome i like it a lot. what i like about the game was that you can see what bone of the body you break and its easy to play. i bought this product becuase i like sports also its a great game to past time your friends..

Fun, addictive, comical arcade style football game. LT sells the drama and the game sells the style. This game is basically the opposite of Madden, but in a good way. Just because a game isn't a real sim of the sport doesn't mean that it isn't worth your time. If you liked the first Blitz, you will love this game.
