Blood Bowl(PSP game...also on X360, PC, & NintendoDS)

Created: 03/05/10
I used to play the tabletop/miniatures Blood Bowl game years ago. This is a faithful reproduction of that experience, with all the rules updates, and I find it very cool! If you ever played Blood Bowl, or wanted to play Blood Bowl, or if you are both a tabletop wargames and football enthusiast, then you will LOVE this video game. Most other people may find it a bit slow with a somewhat steep learning curve. Its a turn based tactics game with roleplaying elements. If anyone who is new to the game really wants to learn to play, they almost have to download a pdf copy of "The Complete Blood Bowl Rulebook" that is readily available for free online. After they digest all of that, they may want to look up some Blood Bowl stratagy guides and tips. Keep in mind this video game is a copy of a tabletop game many people have been playing for like 20+ years, so theres lots of good info on it to be found. One last thing for new players who are having a hard time winning a game even on the easy setting: try starting out coaching an Orc or Human team, as they are probably the easiest to both win with at first and learn the game. Goblin teams, on the other hand, have always been for advanced players(or those who dont really care for winning all that much), and are probably the hardest team to learn the game with. I myself am a Chaos coach! Read up and play around with all the races to find one you enjoy investing your time in to train up and win lots of championships!

Blood Bowl or Chest ?

Created: 11/03/11
Never played the board game but played some strat-o-matic games that are a like...the concept was not as easy as anticipated, even at easy level I had a hard time scoring and needless to say winning...but once you approach the game from a chest play angle things get better. Great game for fans but takes a while for newbies to get use to.
