The game features non-linear gameplay in more than 40 levels and three massive worlds, the ability to suck blood for health, and to use slow-motion, zoom and aura visions to aid in death dealing. Pull off fantastic acrobatic moves to bend the environment to your will and dispatch enemies with BloodRayne's blades and kicks for awesome in-your-face combat. BloodRayne can use and carry any weapon her enemy uses including guns, explosives and rocket launchers -- all in all there are more than 40 weapons in game. Fill the Bloodlust meter to activate Blood Rage for damaging over-the-top attacks to defeat Nazis, mutants, swamp creatures, ancient parasitic monsters and blood-sucking beasts. | |

) This is a very exciting female fighter. The game looked very interesting when I was looking for new xbox games. Still learning how to get past the levels at this point but the visual effects and challenges are very explosive and realistic. Still have a long way to go to get through all the challenges but it is definetly addicting playing this game. It was bought at a very reasonable price. Very happy with this purchase.

This game is great! It is the prequel to BloodRayne 2 on the Xbox. BloodRayne is not playable on an Xbox 360 as BloodRayne 2 is so make sure you get a brand new copy to play on your old finicky Original Xbox! The controls are a little different than the controls for BloodRayne 2, but they work just fine with the Xbox controller. This brand new BloodRayne game was pricier than the other BloodRayne discs that I purchased, but it works with my 2005 Original Xbox, unlike the other two used BloodRayne games that I had to return since my Original Xbox rejected them as unplayable. However, the price seems to be worth it since it is the prequel to BloodRayne 2 for the Xbox and is a cool and interesting game to play.

) I bought this game because I love all things vampire. This game puts you in comtroll of a very lethal lady and all her half vampiric powers. Controlls are easy and intuituve and the difficulty is not overwhelming. Overall gameplay is great in my opinion and I find it to be a rather entertaining game. Cut through hords of nazis and hellish creatures on Raynes quest to find her father as she works for her mysterious Brimstone Society. A definit buy for anyone who enjoys a darker hack in slash vampiric storyline.

When first playing BloodRayne, I wasn't sure whether or not it would meet many gamers expectations, let alone my own. But I was proved wrong. The graphics were amazing for a game such as this, gameplay was awesome, camera angles weren't bad whatsoever. However not much can be said for the sequel of this game, it didn't meet up to my hopes that maybe it would continue into a fun game that I would enjoy. The movie was no better than #2.
All in all, this one is a definite recommendation to anyone that likes a hack and slash game. :)
