    BLUE DAHLIA

This is book 1 of the "garden trilogy" and after reading it I immediately sent for the other two! (Black Rose and Red Lily). If you like gardening, flowers, etc. you will just love this book. The story is interesting in and of itself, but I loved the interweaving about the owner of a garden nursery as well. Kept my interest on a number of fronts: Three women brought together by their circumstances, friendship, romance, love, gardening, business. Nora Roberts is so talented in her wording, it is as if she had your thoughts. Just when you were thinking "....well, what about..." she had it in the next paragraph. Loved all the characters; just loved it!

Once again Nora Roberts did it. The book is one of my most favorite of them all. I wish that I would have read the garden trilogy books in order so that the books would have been more of a surprise. The women of the harper house are twisted in so many different directions. Haley falling in love with a mystery man. Stella goes to tennessee to restart her life with her small boys after devastation.

This book is another excellant book written by Nora Roberts. It is one of 3 in the books of the IN THE GARDEN Trilogy. Because of reading this one I then purchased the other two. I sat down and read the book from cover to cover and forgot to do anything else around the house. I bought the book as I have read many other of her books and loved those and this one is no exception. Another excellant book by and excellant author.

This book came to me as a gift, unbeknownst by a friend that it was a trilogy.
It is a must read for women who like adventure mixed with suspense and romance, a real page turner, my favorite passtime is reading, and I've read so many in the past 6 months, but this one stood out, looking forward to the sequel released in November 2005, Black Rose, well done, Nora Roberts depicts a great stage in this first of three novels, not a thing I would change, her artistic vocabulary draws you in.....very hard to put down....
