"Rebel Heart" was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance.Personnel: Jim Corr (vocals, guitar, keyboards); Sharon Corr (vocals, violin); Andrea Corr (vocals, tin whistle); Ronan Dooney (trumpet); Mitchell Froom (keyboards); Keith Duffy (bass guitar); Cory Churko, Oisin Murry (programming).Audio Mixers: Adam Olmsted; Mike Shipley.Recording information: Westland Studio, Dublin, Ireland; Windmill Lane Studio, Dublin, Ireland.Photographers: Rankin; Norman Jean Roy.Those who revere the sunny female harmonies of classic pop groups like Abba but want something more contemporary-sounding and danceable will find just what they're looking for in the music of the Corrs. Every song on IN BLUE is an airy pop confection held aloft by bubbling synths, reverberant guitars, and of course, the heavenly vocals of the Corr sisters. It's a well-established pop phenomenon that siblings get that extra something special when harmonizing with each other (a fact that goes all the way back to the Everly Brothers). That's certainly true here, but the Corrs take it a step further, as their instrumental abilities intertwine with equal alacrity, especially in the case of guitarist/keyboardist Jim Corr. The whole package is topped off by some production assistance from pop maestro "Mutt" Lange, who puts the final, seamless sonic touches on this instantly appealing album.

Editorial Reviews
...A higher quotient of effervescent, high-gloss pop....demonstrating their continued capacity to surprise...

Corrs " In Blue"

Created: 12/03/08
Good sound and I enjoy the harmony of their voices. I purchased "IN BLUE" to replace the previous one I had and lost. Great to find it on EBAY. I would recommend buying the CD... even though this isn't a "Celtic" sounding group, their style is distinctive and very easy to listen to.

An incredibly overlooked CD

Created: 18/07/06
This CD is amazing and travels well amongst all age ranges. I love the deep harmonies and sound they make together. My parents love it as much as my nieces love it. One of my mainstays on my Ipod Road Music. If you haven't heard of them you need to run out an get this today!

Excellent album but no hyperCD

An excellent example of this fine group. Unfortunately the hyper CD aspectof it on my computer lead to a no longer active site. The CD itself though is excellent in its own right.

In Blue by the Corrs

I live the live version(VH1) better. The Corr's sibling harmonies just can't be beat, live or studio.
I have seen them 'live' in WA state and they were just as awesome.
