Bomberman is a game that is a classic. Fun little robots running around trying to blow each other up. The appeal falls into an addictive heads up game that leaves players searching for power-ups and well placed bombs to dismember each other. This was a great game in the 90’s, but Konami’s meager outing for Bomberman on the XBOX 360 is pretty bad. Trying to juice things up, Bomberman: Act Zero only brings a scratch to this great franchise. Previous installments on previous systems had there faults, but still managed to make breath some fresh air into this aging series. This XBOX 360 version tries to vamp up the character interfaces, the actions, and the movements, taking away the thing that made the original Bomberman games fun, its simplicity.

To charge gamers $50+ retail for this train wreck is a big mistake. You would expect a game like this to come out on the DS or PSP, and be fun – but not on the 360 where it just drags. Though it is not the worst game out there, it does do disjustice to the Bomberman games of past. As a big fan of the Bomberman games, and almost failing my freshman year because of the series, it is dispointing to see this game. If you must, rent it and play it, but for $50+ after tax, this is one that you should wait to go to $20 or get it dirt cheap on EBAY.

+ Online feature and multiplayer modes.

- No Bomberman character. Just Metroid rip-offs.
- Lack of gameplay options.
- Graphics aren't on par with the 360.

Bomberman takes everything you know about Bomberman and totally disregards it to make something less than a great character we all came to love. The game is not as addictive as it used to be especially without Bomberman.

THIS GAME HAD ALOT OF HYPE AND DIDN'T LIVE UP TO IT. YOU CAN'T SAVE YOUR GAME IF WANT TO REACH LEVEL 100 SET ASIE ABOUT HALF YOUR DAY AND DON'T DIE OR YOU START RIGHT BACK FROM THE BEGINNING... I REACHED LEVEL 98 AND WANTED TO GO CRAZY. I PLAYED FOR MANY MANY HOURS ON 1 PLAYER MODE AND ONLINE AND ONLY UNLOCKED A FEW ACHIEVEMENTS.. SUPER HARD AND FRUSTRATING GAME!

Well a game being re released from one's childhood doesn't always mean it's all that it's cracked up to be. in every way and form it showed promise...cool style and looks, but in the end it's an even simpler version of the original, and you can only play other people if you're online and well lets just say i found one room to play against one other person in the last week...other than that it's just you and the computer and there's no real save points so you go up you eventually die, you start at the main menu!

O man where to begin this game is just awful. I will warn anyone do not spend your money on this. This is a game you would find at a flea market for a dollar. Online is useless because no one will play it. First off main problem is look what they did to him! Hes not the cartoon character we all know and love. He is dumb mastercheif ripoff guy. The next problem is the 99 levels it is 99 repetitive same dull boring levels over and over again. I would congratulate you if you actually finish the 99 lvls because I dont no how you actually sat through this. If you want a bad rental then go rent it because you will be verrrrrrrrrry disappointed in yourself that you actually bought this. My closing thoughts are BEWARE OF THE BOMBERMAN!
