This is a great book although it is an earlier edition. Very good pictures and instructions to make several different borders for quilts, wallhangings, lap throws, and tablerunners. We actually bought 5 of these books for our sewing group to do projects together. We are of varying experience levels so the many different borders will make it easy for us to decide on a project for the less experienced and then move everyone to a higher level of expertise. I would have enjoyed more color pictures (which are in the newer version) but it doesn't really make a lot of difference since the fabrics I would be using would not be the same as those shown.

All in all it is a wonderful addition to my quilting library.
