I like the way it changes effect patches quietly and cleanly and there are so many effects built-in to it. I wish it offered a memory that you could name instead of just a number for saving effect patches. It would be nice if it offered a quality setting on Reverb instead of just quantity.
In comparison to other products it provides more effect options in a smaller/lightweight package.

I use it mainly for distortion, and some delay. Clean Jazz sound, and wah.
The main thing is to customize your sounds, store them, and know where they are. Fun to play with and explore, but also reliable for the sounds I want. Great pedal!

bought this pedal to replace a ME-20 because im playing thru a Bose L1-model 2 no more lugging a amp to gigs.This unit has amp modeling that the me20 doesn't.Many great sounding patches, although I'll probably never use more than 6. [mid 50s playing classic rock, country & standards] This pedal has a pretty long learning curve compared to the ME-20, and i dont like having to scroll up & down to patches, the ME-20 has banks of 3, which are convenient for live situations. all this being said I used the pedal on a gig after only 1 hour of shedding with it. I still keep the ME-20 in my bag though. all n all a very useful piece of gear.
Go get one, now!

) For the price this unit is as bad, if not worse than the Digitech RP series. I was extremely disappointed in its versatility. All the sounds are alike, very little in terms of sound variety.
