The Realtime Tempo Change function of the Boss RC-20 allows you to change the tempo of the samples while keeping the pitch constant. Add variety during a single performance with this guitar looper pedal that can store up to 10 phrases simultaneously. ) I needed a device to help with my composing music.Getting another guitaris to help me was not working since I have a style that I have developed which is hard to teach to another guitarist.This guitar pedal works fine with what I needed and I can save the recordings or edit them.I've used to us a reel-to-reel but found it harder aqnd harder to get reel tapes these days.I've never tried any other pedal for this.So far I am very happy.
Great looper with a lot of added features (If only I knew how to use them)

I really like this pedal. I only wish I had more time to practice on it and learn how to use it more fluidly so that I could elevate my technique on it. Otherwise, from the little I've read through the manual, it has been pretty easy to pick up on and set loops. I've used it live a few times and have gotten a great response from the full sound it produces.

This looper is awesome... its like jamming with someone else... for anyone that wants to learn leads through jamming with people, you don't need to wait until you can get together with someone, you can be a one man band....
Don't have to play well with others

you can lay down your rythym riff and play solos over top of it , you will never again need a 2nd guitar player, so for all of you prima donna style lead soloists, this is for you
