Publisher's Note
From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live; from her passionately halfhearted pursuit of physical beauty to her life as a mother eating things off the floor; from her one-sided college romance to her nearly fatal honeymoon, comedian Tina Fey reveals all, and proves that you're no one until someone calls you bossy.

Tina Fey, one of the most influential and beloved women in entertainment, brings sharp wit and uncanny observational skill to everything she does, from television to major motion pictures. She's managed to be known as both the thinking man's sex symbol, and every woman's alter-ego/imaginary best friend. Now, for the first time, Fey takes her writing talent off-screen and into the pages of a book.

From her lifetime pursuit of the perfect Beauty Routine to the oversold joys of breastfeeding, from her whirlwind tour of duty as the Other Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live" to her early days in the comedy trenches - Tina Fey puts her unique and endlessly funny mark on modern life, work, marriage, and motherhood.

Industry Reviews
"[A] here's-what-happened-and-why-I think-this kind of book. It's honest and intimate, without any maudlin tales of childhood sorrow, no extraneous snark or hit-and-run tell-all gossip. It's just a great read from a mature thinker."
(04/05/2011)

"[D]agger-sharp, extremely funny....BOSSYPANTS isn't a memoir. It's a spiky blend of humor, introspection, critical thinking and Nora Ephron-isms for a new generation."
(04/04/2011)

"Her buoyant, manic humor is sometimes the best way to expose and pin down the sheer absurdity of our current sexual politics....Her attitude is not resentment or simmering or a boring, ordinary, low-grade victimhood, but rather a more accurate and nuanced portrait of the modern working woman."

An Amusing and Entertaining Read

Created: 08/04/11
"Bossypants" is a funny autobiography by Tina Fey. Her writing is as amusing as the roles she play on TV. From her relatively humble beginnings to being a recognizable and smart writer and comedian, life taught a lot. She is able to recount everything with a good sense of humor, even the moments of desperation and misfortunes of the past.

This book is relatively short on length and filled with pictures, making it easy to read and like. The Kindle enhanced version (for most Apple touch devices) contains enjoyable multimedia content that includes both extra material and narration - by Tina - of select chapters.

I've been a huge fan of Tina Fey for years. I'd heard of the book coming out since 2008 and thought it was gonna be awesome but couldn't believe that it actually exceeded my expectations.

As the Google CEO guy said in his interview with Tina on Google Talk, the book is not only about telling the stories of Tina's unique personal life but also about certain lessons in life. And yet it did not appear as preachy at all.

Very insightful yet extremely sharp in humour! Tina Fey took contemporary feminism to a totally different level.

She is so witty, that sometimes you'll find yourself thinking how is it possible any one person could be so clever!! Once you start reading, give yourself time, because you really won't want to put it down!! A+++++++++ Tina Fey!!
