Keyboardist T Lavitz heads an all-star quartet and composed most of the material heard here, music that is full of intensity, fire, constant interplay between the players, and passion. Although there are some brilliant solos, the main significance to this music is how the four musicians all fit together and form exciting ensembles. Mixing together jazz improvising with the sound, rhythms, and power of rock, Boston T Party should delight fusion fans. ~ Scott Yanow
Editorial ReviewsBOSTON T PARTY is built around writing as much as blowing, with most of the tunes coming from Lavitz. The group acts as a supportive environment to inspire the soloist without overplaying.JazzTimes 3 stars out of 5 -- Shaded by the recording's immaculate sonic attributes, Lavitz employs an arsenal of synth/MIDI configurations, organ and other tools of the trade. It's a state-of-the-art jaunt.Down Beat eBay Product ID: EPID51090044
