A Boyfriend for Christmas (DVD, 2005)

I love Christmas stories. This is one you have to watch! I have seen it on TV for the last couple of years. I decided I wanted to own it and watch it at ANYTIME.

There are three of my favorite people in the show. Kelli Williams (The Practice), Charles Durning, who was nominated for an Oscar(To Be Or Not To Be), and when this was first made in 2004, Patrick Muldoon was on a TV Soap that I watched.

In this story Durning is Santa and Kelli, a teenager, tells him she wants "A Boyfiend for Christmas" since she had broken up with her present boyfriend. Santa tells her that when the time was right, and her heart would know, then she would get her wish.

Years later when she is an attorney, Santa introduces her to another attorney, Patrick. Santa has Patrick deliver a Christmas tree to Kelli at her home. Patrick knows who she is. But since they had a slight misunderstanding about a court case, he did not want her to know his real name so he called himself "Douglas Firwood". This lie curtails their romance,and again Santa has to come to their rescue.

This is a very heart warming story. I know it will be a delightful DVD for your entire family to enjoy.

If your a sucker for the girl gets the guy story, this is a good movie for just that not to mention the fact that it revolves around the holiday season which makes it even more sweet. Charles Durning plays Santa and I've seen him play Santa before in a few different roles and of all the Christmas movies out there, he truly is Santa Claus. Definitely worth watching with a cup of hot cocoa on a snowy night!!!!

This is a great movie, a very nice holiday movie, one that you can watch with your boyfriend, it is very nice to see someone get there holiday wish, even if they don't believe it at first, but when it all comes together it is great,it is fun to watch them get to know each other and to find out the mystery that has brought them together in the first place,all with Santa's help, add this to the list of another great holiday classic, one filled with heartwarming comedy of holiday magic and romance. . .5**** Movie. . .

I loved this movie. It was excellent. If you believe in love, wishes and that dreams can come true then you will like this movie also. I loved Santa Claus in this movie. You are never to old to believe in him. All the actors and actresses played their characters well. There was nothing that I didn't like about the movie. I felt like that I was a part of it and that I was there with them in the story-line. It was a beautiful love story. Hey, I'm a sucker for romance. It's a very good chick flick. I highly recommend this movie. I would give it a rating of a 10!!!!!

I bought this movie because I love Chritmas and Christmas movies. It was very heartwarming . This is my favorite holiday. To me , it is a holiday for family and to celebrate our Savior's birth....Not many people talk about that anymore.....Thanks, Janice
