Movie synopsis
When the Cartoon Network revived the long-forgotten character of SPACE GHOST to host a bizarre animated/live-action crossover talk show, they found themselves with an unexpected hit on their hands. As the rugged superhero attempted to hold the show together, he was aided by his sidekicks Brak and Zorak. Brak initially branched out to host his own variety show (entitled CARTOON PLANET), alongside Space Ghost and Zorak. Now, the story of Brak's origins can be told in this prequel to the whole talk show/variety show melee that followed! Living in the suburbs on an unnamed planet, the young Brak and his family work their way through life, with the destructive Zorak a constant thorn in their sides as he leads Brak astray. Both funny and touching, THE BRAK SHOW should appeal to all SPACE GHOST fans looking for further adventures with their favorite characters. This release includes a second volume of episodes from the show.

) I’ll be the first to admit my tastes are a little odd sometimes... but why did the Brak show get canceled other then the endless narrow-minded suits that have zero talent and yet claim to know everything about entertainment?
Adult Swim seems to have some kind of life-bleeding force on cute and naughty little cartoons like this one, yet the most annoying seam to live long and never go away. Live action, on a cartoon show? Rocket science! Not. These are not cartoons for little kids! Yet they are funny enough to make us grown up kids laugh. That means they work. leave them alone. Poor Brak only lasted 29 episodes and yet you would have a hard time finding another title in the Adult Swim catalog that had so many funny shows and so few bombs.
The only really bad thing about this box set was zero extras. I was very disappointed. They even made mention in the last scene of the last show that the show was canceled... then they should have made some kind of effort for the loyal fans that loved the show so much... like me and so many others. Still, is it worth owning? If you are a fan, no question! Buy it NOW. Not because I said so, but Zorak said so. Muhahahahaaa.

) The Brak Show is hilarious. I do miss the original 'Mom's voice but if you want to dive into a pit of insanity, this show is for you. Most likely you've already seen it. You already know. Well, I have to tell you, you've seen it all then. There isn't any commentary, no features, nothing. Like you taped it straight to a DVD, here it is.
Maybe they were upset about being cancelled. Maybe they had nothing to say. Maybe they were busy with other stuff. I like features, especially commentary. Zorak and Brak talking over the action would have been entertaining. This is just for fans really. The Rap-off contest is worth your purchase.

Brak show 2 is a must for random-humor enthusiasts

I had read several bad reviews of this show and bought it anyway, since I was a huge fan of "the brak show: volume 1".
After having watched it, (and watched it, and watched it... lol) I came to the conclusion that I enjoyed it... quite alot.
If you are a fan of random-humor, you will definitely love this-- it has several episodes that I like better than any of the ep's on the first set. Dad is still just as crazy, brak is still just as silly, Zorak is still evil...
mom's voice is different, but I still like her, actually maybe I like her more than the voice on the first set.
I can put this in and all the worries and anxieties of the day just melt away.
