Movie synopsis

The story of Dracula continues beyond its classic origins in this romantic horror-adventure sequel that puts the creator himself, Bram Stoker, in the role of protagonist. Bram and Elizabeth are madly in love but that doesn't stop Elizabeth's father, Admiral Murray, from having doubts about the sincerity of their relationship. Prompted by the admiral's insistence that the two spend a year apart to test their love, Elizabeth runs away from home and straight into the arms of a newly arrived Count Dracula, who kidnaps the girl in order to lure Admiral Murray to his castle and confront him about certain unfinished business. After a distraught Bram learns of Elizabeth's whereabouts from a friend's dying words, the adventurer sets out on a quest to find his true love. This new tale in the Dracula saga is based on Stoker's short stories.

Dracula's guest is a good, no make that a AWESOME movie

Created: 03/02/10
Dracula's guest is a AWESOME movie! If you like the classic vampire/hammer movies you will love this one. Its GREAT to scare the kids with and it will give you a look at the classic vampire! But it is kinda cheaply done and don't look for a blood bath, or women running around topless, its just a AWESOME vampire movie with a GREAT story line and a classic feel, nothing more, nothing less.

Mr. Bram Stroker's Dracula's Guest REALLY BITES

Created: 18/07/08
The camera angles were set as if meant for a low budget TV series rather than a movie. Zero special effects but Dracula does seem to wave his hands around and force the will of others and that is the height of the power, other than hovering, of which 1/2 of Dracula was not on screen which made hovering very low tech. Then there was the "disappearing Dracula" where they cut the camera off and then on again with other characters present but only an ominous voice carrying in the distance.

The acting was rather horrid, more like people who over-act for live theater rather than the cinema, making it impossible to immerse yourself in the rag of a movie.

Do not buy or pay for in the theater.
