Movie synopsis

The two most popular urban dance styles compete for supremacy in BREAKIN' VS. KRUMPIN': THE BATTLE OF THE CENTURY. Breakdancing is a distinctive dance technique that has been popular in urban areas since the 1980s, but its reign on the streets has been challenged by the similarly unique dance called krumping. In this release, the founders of the krumping movement engage in a competition with the world's top breakdancers to determine which dance style will rule the sidewalks of the country.

pretty good documentary but clearly two different styles & krafts, and years of development, distinguished dance techniques and methods of movements . krump is good, however, it's still in it's infancy stages . break-dancing involves more steps, styles, and techniques that have been mastered and marinated over the decades . krump has multiple styles which are good however, it's one unique style with many similar expressive movements like pop'n . pop'n is a style with multiple movements, lock'n is similar, as well as tick'n . break-dancing includes multiple dance styles and that's the main difference between krump and break-dancing . ultimately i enjoyed the video and appreciated the project . i applaud and support the krump movement because it represents somewhat what break-dancing represented during its inception as it related to young inner-city youth and the tough challenges they face growing up . Breakers vs Krumpers... they call this the battle of the century but comparing break dancing to krumping is like comparing apples to oranges. With Todd Bridges(Different Strokes) gives the narration and special appearance by Shabba doo(Breakin') this DVD is a sure fire hit with open minded urban dance fans.

i loved Ozone in Breakin as a young teen so i wanted to see what he was doing now. He still looks great, but i was very disappointed that shabba-doo did not dance at all in this film. and where is turbo??? he did not even do a Camio appearance.

I loved the battles shown in it! All the battles shown were great and it shows another side of the real life of real Krumpers and what they do since the movie "RIZE" sparked an interest in the world! You finaly see the true side and what they go through and it is amazing!
