Britax Marathon Crocodile Convertible Car Seat

I use the LATCH system and I absolutely love how quickly and securely the Britax Marathon goes into my truck. When it's installed correctly, it won't budge even a little bit. Britax was the first car seat I bought ~ but my husband had a Cosco in his truck. After forgetting to transfer the Britax into his truck for a 200 mile trip, it only took 1 week to replace his seat with a Britax Marathon like mine. Our son acted uncomfortable and certainly looked uncomfortable all slumped over in the Cosco. Not to mention the most important part ~ I was scared the entire time because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the Cosco seat to attach anywhere near as tightly as I could bet the Britax to. The shoulder harness also looked too lose to me...as if he would just slip right out if we were in an accident. Now that my husband has a Britax as well, I rest much easier ~ It's a seat that is super easy to install correctly and securely, it's very comfortable for my son and it's easy to get him in and out of it. When he's in it he's very secure but still has the ability to move enough to play with hand toys and to look around.

This is my 2nd time buying a Britax seat. My 2yr old has the Roundabout and we decided on the Marathon for our 9 month old. They are the Cream of the Crop as far as car seats are concerned. We are very very safety conscious people and keeping our children safe while driving is extremely important to us.

We searched consumer reports for the best seats on the market and then the best vaules for your dollar. Now granted Britax is far from a cheap seat, the benefits out weigh the hit to the pocketbook!

We purchased a Graco booster for our 4yr old son and soon after saw a report of how the seat failed another 4yr old boy and how he was ejected from his parents van, that was enough for us so, we are going to invest in a Britax booster for our 4yr old son as well. God forbid we are ever in an accident I feel confident that my children will be safe in their seats.

Very well built and suited for a child to sleep in. In my sons older car seat it just looked painful to watch his little neck get bent over. This seat is perfect. The material is soft and very easy to clean. The straps can be difficult to get on at first but once you get the handle of them it isn't bad. I like that it has a rubber coating on the bottom which does not hurt my leather seats.

I strongly recommend this product!!! It is easy to install. Converts to forward facing and up to 70 lbs.

Excellent Carseat! Very well made and nice looking. We think it's the best carseat on the market! We reesearched a lot prior to this purchase and nothing out there even came close to the quality of Britax!
