Movie synopsis
BROTHER BEAR 2: MOOSE ON THE LOOSE, the sequel to 2003's animated children's hit BROTHER BEAR, features voice work by some of today's hottest stars, including GREY'S ANATOMY'S Patrick Dempsey, as well as Mandy Moore and Wanda Skyes. In this chapter, Kenai emerges after hibernating all winter and is very hungry. Wanting to take his little brother Koda with him to find some berries at Crowberry Ridge, Kenai keeps getting distracted by his friends Rutt and Tuke, who are busy trying to woo two moosettes, but failing miserably. So the brothers are on their way, until Kenai's old friend Nita turns up looking for his help. Kenai must change his plans in order to assist Nita in burning an amulet he gave her years before. Thus a great journey begins, with the three finding adventure all along the way. BROTHER BEAR 2 features original music by Melissa Etheridge.

I enjoyed this movie as much as my kids. We laughed and cried. The well written story keeps you interested. The detailed animation brings the story to life. The characters have depth and personalities. The movie introduces Kenai's childhood friend and includes a flashback scene of them as children. Even if you've never seen Brother Bear, you'll enjoy this movie. There's nothing too scary and no serious villians.It appeals to young children--my three year old loves it--and to older children as well as adults.

) This movie was really good . Kept the same people but added some new and everything was great . The story line was prefect and Love is an great thing . Some parts were shocking and what WAS happening I thought my little brother wasn't going to watch this movie because of what happening at the end other than that great movie .

) Purchased Brother Bear 2 after purchasing Brother Bear 1. I do not adhere to the native Indian beliefs in magic but enjoyed the movie based upon nature and the animals. Absolutely LOVE the moose and their corniness - they are my favorites in the movie. There is no bad language or sexual suggestions which you need to watch out for even in movies classified "For Children".

) If your kids enjoyed the first Brother Bear, they will enjoy this one as well. My younger grandchildren (ages two and five) were not all that anxious to see it, but my eight and twelve year old loved it. Good messages in the plot. Great prices on EBay and not having to run to the stores to purchase encourages me to buy the majority of my DVD's from EBay vendors.
