Brother HL-2270DW Workgroup Laser Printer

Great little printer, and looks good, too. Unpacked and setup completed and connected to the WiFi in about 15 minutes using the included software (although the "Quick Start" documentation is a little confusing because it does not quite match the software install routine, but it's close enough -- and you need a USB or LAN cable to do the initial WiFi set up . . . neither are included)!

Crisp, clear prints the first time out of the box. Too bad they don't include a "full" toner cartridge. But the price is right. The built in duplex feature is a real plus, and not typically found in most other laser printers at this price point.

Brother products are reliable and consistent performers. I also have an HL-5280DW that performs flawlessly.

Excellent printer.. so easy to setup. great quality. I use mine with Mac and PC. instructions were excellent, and easy to use and follow. worked out of the box on LAN and wireless.

Must have for wifi-enabled home computing. The wifi connectivty is easy to setup following the instructions from the manual. You can print anywhere and anytime in the house without a glitch. Print jobs are queued convenietly if turned off, and resumes once the printer in turned on. The price is a real bargain without any sacrifice for convenience, quality, reliability, and ease of functionality.

The duplex feature is a breeze, automatic, no need to flip papers, it prints on both sides. Nice access for mailing envelopes and stationaries. Toner cartridge is easy to remove and replace. Paper tray keeps things orderly and easy to reload.

I purchased this to replace an old HP laserjet printer as our monochrome printer. It came with a configuration disk that was easy to use. I have it on a small home network. My only dislike is that the company does not make a linux driver for it, so is difficult to connect my Ubuntu PC to it.
Print quality is good. The duplex printing feature saves paper. Speed is terrific and per-page toner cost is very reasonable.

This laser is the ticket for me. No more filling the ink jets or buying new ones for $20 to $30. WiFi speed is outstanding. Mind is set up in an upstairs back room and it sends copies as if it was connected by hard wire. Super worth the price. I expect to be saving a lot of money by not buying all those ink cartridges. Easy set up. Note: This laser printer does not have the ability to copy or scan so save your old printer and use it to scan stuff to your computer so you can print it to the laser printer
