Brother LX3125 Compact Mechanical Sewing Machine

I was looking for an inexpensive sewing machine for quick fixes & projects, but didn't want to have some big bulky thing taking up room. This is perfect! I've used it for several projects already & this machine is so versatile and fun to use, I find myself planning more sewing projects. It's easy to set up, thread, run the bobbins and of course, sew. It's light-weight and easy to transport when I want to set it up for a quick project. I highly recommend this machine.

I bought the machine because I have a Brother Quatro 6000D and love it, but I just needed a simple machine to use while I have time consuming patterns stitching out. I can hem, seam, attach trims or just make something while my big machine is happily doing its thing!

The LX3125 meets all the criteria for what I needed and wanted and I am very happy with my purchase and would buy it again (if I had six or seven arms to work it!):

I had NEVER ever used a sewing machine before, but got this one because we had quite a growing collection of things with little holes that needed to be fixed, or rehemed.

The instructions that came with it are a bit confusing to figure out, took me over an hour just to get it threaded, but maybe I'm just dumb. A video would have been nice. I think that comes with the new ones but i got a refurbished one to save a little bit of money(not knowing i wouldn't get the video).

The machine itself seems to be nice, and it has more options, and stuff then I will probably ever use. Using this machine (once you get it threaded) is much easier than fixing holes by hand. As a first time sewing machine user I would recommend this to someone else just trying to learn.

I LOVE my sewing machine! It works great, and has all the little bits and pieces that come with it when you buy it brand new, including the owners manual which has saved my butt a number of times! thank you for putting out an awesome, inexpensive product!

I purchased this product because I am an entrepreneur and needed a more durable sewing machine that could do functions and more selections that my old machine did not hold capabilities. I love this product because it is so cute and chic and it is not too big and bulky. It also has so many optional functions and techniques. It is lightweight and compatible. There is nothing that I do not like about this product! I would recommend this to any and everyone whether a professional seamstress or just learning how to sew. I went to WalMart and priced this same exact sewing machine for $299.00...I was proud of myself of the savings
