BTK Killer (DVD, 2006)

If you are a true connoisseur of the "so bad it's good" then you may disappointed. I had previously seen the director's film Curse of the Zodiac which is the holy grail of this type but BTK Killer is much better. This movie is filmed using digital video which may turn off some people especially if they aren't used to it. However the shots are competently composed and clearly convey the appropriate moods such as claustrophobia. Some creatively over the top torture scenes and tons of graphic slaughter house footage made this an enjoyable film for me although certainly not great or really even very good. Recommended for the fan of ultra-low budgets and speedy productions as I believe the director was during this period literally churning out a movie every six weeks.

this movie looked like somebodys home movie, the picture was a bad as the story, i have seen alot of serial killer movies and this is the worst one ever, dont waste your time or money on this one ever

I thought about this and decided I had to find ONE good thing to say about this movie~"GLAD IT IS OVER'~ LOUSY plot, BAD acting~and the worst of the lot~ HORRIBLE DIRECTION~ trying to draw the "drama" out by using a hand held~camera~ it is tacky,Cheesy SETS~ do not bother buying, renting OR borrowing this total waste of everyones time~ I GIVE IT A ZERO OUT OF 5~ IT IS ONE STEP BELOW "POOR" THE EBAY HAS AS THE LOWEST RATING.

This movie sucks in EVERY ASPECT... Directing, filming, editing, and acting were BELOW SUB-PAR.... Could only stand about the first 15 minutes of it and then it went into the trash... I couldn't even bring myself to give it away... I have seen MUCH better 'home-videos'... Spend your money on the book, and don't waste it on this...
