Where The Buffalo Roam
Created: 08/11/06
When first released in 1980, Where The Buffalo Roam got, as I remember, almost universally bad reviews. I always thought that that was rather unfair. No, it 's not the greatest movie ever made - far from it. But if you are a fan of Bill Murray or the man he portrays: the late, lamented Hunter S. Thompson, the legendary, out-law, gonzo journalsit, then you'll love this film as I do. My main problem withrecent video and DVD releases is the fact that they have scrapped the original soundtrack which included Bob Dylan, The Temptations, and Jimi Hendrix, for "generic" rock music. If you can find that one, it's REALLY worth your while!

this was advertised as the original release, with the original music score. it is not it. the release date of the vhs is in the 90's, not the original release date. all music has been changed, and is not the version you were advertising.
