Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Season 1 (DVD, 3-Disc Set, Repackaged Full Frame)

I recommend this DVD set to anyone who is a Sci-Fi or Horror or Soap Opera fan because that's exactly what you'll when you watch this DVD set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm personally a fan of Sarah Michelle Gellar and many of the others on the show so I enjoy watching these episodes over and over. I love all the action and drama that goes on between these teens in high school fighting demons and the forces of evil. I mean almost everyone can relate to the good and bad times of their high school experience, maybe not quite like this, but to a degree. I mean it's always nice to get caught up in a show that you can get lost in, which is exactly what this show does. The features are pretty nice as well, photo gallery, TV trailers, commentary, interviews and much more. Overall it's a great show to buy on DVD and it's seven year run is living proof of that.

Well, it's Buffy the Vampire Slayer so naturally the title implies excellence in classic teen television. Great DVD for the Vampire Slayer lover! We love watching Giles and the only thing we didn't like about it was the master (the evil vampire guy for you non watchers)- so all in all it was a super fantastic product offering all the thrills and spills and whaky special effects a series can offer! Buy one and relive being back in high school (hopefully not being possessed by the one of the vampire demons)!Love it love it love it!!!

My dead daughter literally memorized the dialog of the movie.

My living daughters each own the entire run of both Buffy and Angel.

I can't afford to buy the complete run, but when I came across the first season for only three dollars plus shipping, I couldn't resist.

Now all I need are the others of both series, and I'll be loaded for bear.

We are making a cenotaph for our dead daughter, because her grave is too far away for us to visit. When our handyman suggested we put it on a stake, we both looked at him in horror, and then I said, "No, she wouldn't like that."

My husband added, "And I don't like it either."

Actually, she'd probably be very amused--in fact, she's talking inside my head now, and she agrees that the idea is funny but she doesn't want it anyway. That's okay, daughter, you saw the ceramic slab we're putting the bronze plaque on, and it's exactly the color yours was when you were a baby.

So Buffy is a family thing.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer came out as a season mini series. I started watching re-runs in summer of 2006.I could not get enough. I am now trying to complete the series of seasons.It's about a regular high school girl whose destiny becomes fighting vampires. It may seem weird but it actually carries a storyline and even a love story that will engross you.The only thing I dislike is when each season ends.

You need to see this DVD set before you can really consider yourself a Buffy fan! I liked it, not as good as season two - but still - you need to see this.
