I enjoyed reading about the beginning of the company. This book provides an eye opening look at customer service and the extensive steps which can be taken to create customers for life. I disliked the introduction only because I was unsure which founder was speaking in first person. The information was great, but the book switched back and forth between each person without an introduction or a heading. I purchased the book because of the recent CEO change at Home Depot. The new CEO found it important to read and I wanted to know why.

I bought the book because when no one else would take me Home Depot did. I was give black market bone giving me a blood problem which took me out of the medical world. Home Depot did not care. So I wanted to read our story. And what a story. from rags to riches. Two guys and ana idea with morals and the right stuff. take a chance it may make a dream come true.

A good book for any one breaking out on their own, and for any Home Depot employee with plans of moving up through the company a must read.
