Satisfy your furning desire

One of the best racing games is back in the 4th installment of this series. This time the game only adds to the excitement of the previous. It takes all the great fan favorite features of the last game (Takedown) and adds new elements a traffic checking strategy that allows you to get boost from smashing into same way traffic. The graphics are super (again) and the sound is second to none. This is one of the most fun racing games around because the entire series allows anyone to just dive in and drive! You don't have to try to get to a certain score right off. It is really easy to learn unlike some other "simulation" type games. There are the usual medals, signatures and trophies that you can achieve if you care to really get into the game.
Get this game! Get an XBox 360 and get the next Burnout game in the series and continue to do so because you WILL have fun.

Best Burnout Yet!

Burnout: Revenge (Xbox) is the fourth in the wildly popular Burnout "race-and-crash" game series. Each installment in this line has been a quality release due to the simple rule that the makers have followed. Take the best things from the previous version and make them even better. Burnout: Revenge does this and more.
The high-speed, worldwide racing campaign is back again along with the fan-favorite Crash Challenges. As usual, the design and graphics are great and the gameplay and attention to detail is top-notch. Newly-added features this time around include alternate routes, shortcuts and big-air jump opportunities - all included on each and every course used throughout the game.
However, it is one particular new feature that has resulted in this game going from "Good" to "Excellent". It's called "Checking Traffic". What it means is that you can now ram, smash or crash into any of the same-direction traffic you encounter throughout the game. Doing this will not only increase your car's boost, but it also allows you to use the cars you hit as projectiles to spectacularly takedown your opponent’s cars and steal their boost right out from under them.
If you’ve ever played and liked a Burnout game before, then there isn’t any reason for you to not enjoy BURNOUT: REVENGE. If you’ve never played any Burnout game, then you’ve chosen the best to get you started. So, fasten your seat belts – you’re in for one heck of a ride!

Burnout Revenge lets gamers rip through rush hour traffic and lay waste to scores of rubbernecking roadhogs in an over-the-top scene of vehicular mayhem. In addition to tricked out new race, crash and road rage modes, Burnout Revenge adds Revenge mode, challenging gamers to battle the clock and unleash their frustrations on rush hour traffic. The Revenge Meter is broken up into ten categories, with the lowest and first rank being Harmless. A series of race areas are available in each Revenge Rank, and each area has its own subset of race types. So for example, the Harmless ranking contains Sunshine Keys, Motor City, Angel Valley and Lone Peak areas along with a Preview Event. Each one of the areas contains at least one event, be it Crash, Road Rage or what have you. If an area has more than one event (as most do) you may need to place in an open event to unlock others, similar to how Burnout 3 workedProgression up the Revenge Meter is earned by gaining stars in each event. Up to four stars are earned for your driving prowess while the fifth and final star is earned by a Gold ranking. You begin each event with an OK rating (one star) and through aggressive driving techniques, like drifting, checking traffic, takedowns, extended boost periods and so forth, you'll work up to the Good, Great and then Awesome ratings, or two, three and four stars respectively. Your rank dictates your final star count with Gold giving you an additional star, Silver essentially being a wash, and a Bronze medal means a star is revoked. Non-placement means that any star rating you've earned doesn't count. So to score a Perfect rating on an event, you'll need to drive aggressively enough to earn an Awesome rating while also finishing first.
Previous Revenge Ranks stay open as you progress through the game, meaning that you can go back and complete any event you've skipped over later on. As was the case in Burnout 3, you don't need to finish every event in order to continue your progression through the game. We managed to reach the highest ranking, Elite, after completing somewhere around 115 of the 169 available events with something like 95 Perfect ratings within those.

This game... Is sooooo fun; "HOW FUN IS IT?" It's sooo fun that writing these reviews actually bring down the fun value because we have to waste time to write the review telling everyone else how fun this game is thus taking away from the fun we could be having playing this fun game!
LMAO
SMASH CRASH MASH BASH SCRMBASH!!!!!!
This and the steering wheel(I use the MC2)enhanced my marriage (my wife won't let me get my turn) And brought a higher level of fun to the racing genre.
The features are beautiful, the graphics are delicious and the music...well, if you don't like whats on the disc you can play with your own traxx loaded on your X! Man-Ooooo-MAN that's HOTTT!
Your favorite tunes while knocking the Slow-Poke, Cellphone Using, Not Paying Attention to the Road, Won't Move Out of the Left Lane, MORON, Idiot drivers off the road...
