In this Adventure video game, you play the hunter, who sets out through a wide range of hunting-fishing voyages. The Xbox 360 Alaskan Adventures game challenges and measures you with its standards, as you proceed towards your prize. Moving from the north slope to Ketchikan, you have to complete 38 hunting and fishing adventures of this Adventure video game. As you start at the Alaskan outpost, you get to choose from gear options, ranging from rifles, shotguns, bows and arrows. You can choose to ride a snowmobile, truck or ATV to explore your next hunting spot. You will be challenged for hours together as you chase and hunt more than 20 species of the Alaskan trophy game in the Xbox 360 Alaskan Adventures. With a combination of skill and strategy, this Cabela's Alaskan Adventures needs you to hunt down 20 species of animals and over 10 species of fishes. | |

I do not like this because it takes away from the reality of the game. In real life you do not have a time limit, you just take your time and.....hunt.
The rest of the game is very fun. Fishing, Hunting and even dog sled racing!
The graphics are excellent, and sound is right on par.

) It is what it is. You're shooting fake animals, fishing, etc. I enjoy it. It's nothing super special. The ATV's and trucks don't drive like they do in Saint's Row or other games. Obviously this is not what the game is about.
Some aspects are dumb and some of the voices get annoying, but overall it's fun. But again, it is what it is. If you feel like hunting from your living room this is fun.
There are not online aspects other than downloads.

Needs Better and More Fishing!

) I expected more fishing, and better graphics, It takes too long to get everywhere and you have to keep loading things :( I was enjoyable at times but frustrating at others. Graphics and game felt cheap and out dated for a 360 game . Not really as happy as I wanted to be with it. The fishing parts are a bit lame having a timer on them . You have like 4 minutes each time you want to attempt fishing and it runs out too fast. The hunting is slow and sub par graphics . Again I REALLY wanted this game and wanted it to be better.

Decent game, but doesn't compare to previous Cabelas

The reason I bought this game was because I had all of the Cabelas games from the original Xbox. Those games were awesome. This game is so - so. Graphics are poor. Game play is weak. I bought this game and played it for about an hour and then resold it on Ebay. If you played these games on the original Xbox and feel in love with them, you will not get the same experience for this game.
