| Activision's popular CABELA series is great for hunters in the off-season, and the 2006 entry in the series, CABELAS DANGEROUS HUNTS 2 for the PS2, offers yet another great adventure in the outdoors. As usual, players will be traveling the world looking for the biggest and most dangerous game, which includes wolves, cougars, bears, and even polar bears. This time, the game takes players through Australia, Africa, Alaska, and even to the frozen tundra of Siberia as they stalk the most wanted game. Players will have several options when it comes to choosing guns, bullets, and other accessories. Animal calls, traps, decoys, and bait are all available for sell and use in the wild. As players move through the single player missions, however, they will be given tasks other than just hunting down specific game. Some levels require players to keep wild animals away from a camp, save lost hikers from grizzly bears, or help an injured forest ranger get back to town. One of the most interesting additions to the game is the inclusion of slow motion time. Players can slow down time to line up that perfect shot. Slow motion time only lasts for a few seconds, however, so players still have to be quick on aiming and firing. CABELAS hunting games are always great, and CABELAS DANGEROUS HUNTS 2 is no exception. Gamers looking for the next big challenge in virtual hunting won't be disappointed. | |

) This game is full of action, it keeps you on your toes. I like the fact it has many kinds of animals to hunt. You can hunt with rifles, shot guns, bow and arrows. You hunt in different countries. There are elephants, leopards, rhinos, bears a yetti. All in all it will kill a whole afternoon and give you hours of fun. I like hunting games and this one is the most fun. I like the fact you don't have to stop and get your energy level up like in many hunting games. The bonus levels when unlocked are a challenge.

This game is much more difficult than the other Cabela games. (The TEEN rating should be followed.) The graphics of this game are not too realistic, but the difficulty level is high, with alot of animal attacks. Not a good game for the kids, but my husband enjoys it enough for all of us. I purchased this game hoping for a fun game the entire family would enjoy. Unfortunately, it's game play is limited to my husband. Once you get the "hang of it", it is a fun game.

WELL I LIKE THE PRICE OF THE GAME THAT WAS FOR SURE AND I REALLY ENJOY THE FEATURES IT HAS THERE ARE NO DISLIKES OF THIS GAME AT ALL,I HAVE PLAYED IT OVER AT MY FRIENDS HOUSE AND JUST WANTED IT I REALLY ENJOY THE GAME.

Pros: Challenging.. figuring out where to go and complete the objectives takes a little more than regular hunting skills. Packs of attacking wild animals add an extra thrill. Of course if they become too much you can always click on the Slow-mo mode to get a better aim at your attacking targets. Very cool. Good graphics.
Cons: The only view is first person. Ive always turn down games with a first person view. But maybe thats just me. Its all about preference.
OVERALL: Pretty darn good. What else would you expect from Cabela's and Playstation?

In my views if the Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2 game

) What I like about the game that has an unexpected surpise ending, and didn't see it coming... it's cool. Animals in the game are great, especially the wolves made me bit jumpy at every turn. Only one thing that I do not liked is how the "hunter" as I played,... and can't see much around as traps scattered around on the trails. Wished its more like the African Safari game which I had played already.
