Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 (Game & Gun) (Wii, 2010)

I bought this game as an x-mas gift for my big daddy boom-boom. Everyone enjoyed this game. Me I stared at all players while in amusement. They came along ways with electronic's.My big daddy first thing next morn played game and off an on all through the day with daughter. They could not seem to out do one another. He is extremely happy about his new red wii, and his cabela's dangerous hunt game. He enjoys it so much, I had to purchase another gun game for him. Now my daughter wants her own wii and games. Great game with gun.excellent story plot.keeps you on ur toes.the 2nd option is safari hunts with bears and all different kind of animal hunts, those game are just as exciting.you go from hunt to hunt.game can be played with 2 people or alone and that is always great.I would recommend this game as i feel u will play for hours.

Great game! I am new to Wii but at 63 I wanted to try things that we did not have when I was a child, and in this case I wish we did. I play mostly hunting games and have went through most of Cabela's hunting games, which I believe are the best. I am not all the way through "Dangerous Hunts 2011" although I have played hours and hours. I find it very tense at times and even I jump. It is well script and a real challenge. It is the type of game you get caught up in. If you die, you have to start over from the last check point saved, in which case I have started over many times but I find more bonus doing this and try to remember where they are. I really enjoy playing this game. I google cheat hints but they don't seem to help so it is really a game you just have to figure out yourself. I hope Cabela keeps coming out with more of these type of hunting games along with the 2010 and 2012 "Big Game Hunters." Buy one, I believe you are in for a challenge if you like more then just a hunting game. I've said it before on some of my reviews for games that I have chronic pain and Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 is better than taking my pain meds. Part two: I did an edit to say that this game is not for children. There are death scenes and the animals kill you if you don't get them first. When that happens you start over from the last checkpoint. I also just finished the game. It took me approx. 12 hours to kill the last beast, which I was beginning to think I would never get it. Great game, I'll be playing it again many times.

AND THE ELITE GUN, YES!!! 10 STARS, NOTHING LIKE THE LIL CHEAP SO CALLED GUN(PISTOL) YOU GET WITH OTHER WII STUFF! NO PUTTON TO RELOAD, YOU HAVE TO WORK THE PUMP LIKE A REAL GUN! IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GAME OF REAL LIFE STYLE ACTION, THIS IS IT! AND ON MULTI-PLAYER, NO SPLIT SCREEN!! AND THE SCOPE ADDS EVEN MORE EXCITEMENT!! THEY DAY IT CAME IN, I ALMOST WORE IT OUT!LOL..

The gun is awkward to hold. Claims the adjustable stock fits all but if you're a grown adult, it seems to short. Using it as a pistol grip may work better. I gave up quick. I re-rate later if things change. With ebay bucks I was able to get it for less than 1/2 price. I'm glad I didn't pay the full price. I will try it with the regular top shot rifle which is more comfortable to hold.
