Cabela's Dangerous Hunts (Xbox, 2003)

BUT it can!!! So there I am sneaking up trying to kill my first Elk in the game and the camera angle changes as if something is coming at me. Next thing I know some big old bear is malling at my skin. I grab my knife to try to defend myself at no avail. So I pull up my shotgun (thank god I brought it with me) and blast the bear 3 times. It runs away. After I catch my breath I look around for the elk and I guess my gunfire scared it cause it moves. I go back to searching for the elk and this damn bear attacks me straight on this time. I pull up my shotgun (thank god I reloaded it) again and blast it two more times and the bear dies. WHEW!!! I thought I was going to die on this hunting trip. I end up finding the elk again and when I shoot it the coolest thing happens. The camera follows the bullet to the head of the elk. I got a clean kill. This game is so addicting and you have to watch out or you may be the one that is killed. LOADS of fun. Great graphics and sound! I HIGHLY recommend this game to any hunter or anyone that just likes the unexpected.

This game is a fun little adventure when you just plain feel like killin something. The graphics don't hold up particularly well but I still find it much more enjoyable than the later iterations. The thrill of a very far off kill will have you getting excited especially watching the bullet cam and knowing your gonna get a good hit. It also excels where part 2 doesn't in that you may pick your own arsenal. I recommend this title for fun that can be gone back to time and again!

The game was great. The graphics were great on it for being the older style Xbox. We love playing it and having fun seeing who can get the bigger animals. It's a great game and if you love to hunt you will love this game.

This game only has about 5 different background settings and you hunt all the different animals in these settings all they do is change the season and the color a little so it is very easy to learn where everything is.

I grew bored very fast with this game and will not buy any others like this

This is a great game. It has excellent graphics and is like you are really hunting in the field, only safer. I have never seen a hunting game like this one and I would recommend it to anyone. This game gives the availability of several different hunts. So whether you want to hunt a Whitetail Deer or a Dangerous African Rhino you can. But whatever you are hunting all will prove to be a DANGEROUS HUNT!
