California Dreams - Seasons 1 & 2 (DVD, 2009, 5-Disc Set)

Some of us that grew up in the early to mid 90s remember the enjoyment of waking up every saturday morning, turning on the tv, and watching our favorite saturday morning shows. Unfortunately, that is just a memory now, and saturday morning programming no longer exists. Many of us remember great cartoons and original television programming airing when we were children that made us every week look forward to waking up early saturday mornings to watch our favorite shows. And one of the shows was California Dreams. Starting off as a program about a family in Redondo Beach, California who had 2 children in a band, The California Dreams, the show eventually became all about the band and their adventures. Through good times and bad, drama and comedy, this show had a mix of emotions. For those of us that remember, this will make us relive those days. And for newer generations, this show will please them as well.

I bought the dvd's for "California Dreams" just a few weeks back and I am still watching the eppys over and over. Even though it has been off the air for some time now..I still absolutely love this show ! I used to watch it back in the day when I was in my late teens and early 20's. They don't make clean cut, funloving and inspirational shows like they used to. This show not only was entertaining but educational at times. I love the fact that you got to know each character and their quirks. They actually had good storylines and enjoyable music as well as loveable characters. I bought the dvd's not only for the memories but because it was just a downright good show to watch over and over again. What I dislike is that I want more episodes and more commentary. Other than that no complaints...Classic show w/ classic characters and actors..Priceless..I am grateful for dvd's and that's that. Cheers!

I remember back in January 1994 I started turning the channels and watched the show till the end. I fell in love with the show and because they were a band and I love their music. I've been video taping ever episode that ever came on. Today I still wish they would show it back on TV. I liked on the last disc where they were reunited and how they got casted.

great show. huge michael cade fan! the show was great and sitll has stood the test of time, i felt with the story, it made me happys and me sad, even made me cry, this is a realy underated show. rock on michael cade!
