| The MCC-2000 series of converters and boosters provide cost-effective flexibility in network configuration. The converters support these media combinations: BNC/UTP, BNC/FO, UTP/FO and MAU/MAU (Media Attachment Unit, female AUI). By supporting two MAU's the MAU/ MAU converter allows the user to attach two mini-transceivers of any type to create universal conversion. The small footprint and easy installation of these converters and boosters make them simple to place and use. It is easy to select which converter or booster suits the user's needs because of the "one-on-one" (i.e. dual-port) nature of the units.
