Canon PC170 Black & White Copier

The Canon PC170 Copier has been a godsend. It is light and compacy, yet produces clear, crisp copies. It is wonderful to use at home or in a small business place. I use it in my classroom. It's size makes it convenient to have in a cabinet where you can keep it stored away unlike those big, bulky machines. It is ready to go in a minute and it copies very quickly. It has been a wonderful thing to have available at a moment's notice. I feel that I have become more efficient being able to have it virtually within arm's length rather than having to wait my turn at the copying machine in school.

This copier is very good for a personal copier. It should be faster and have a bigger paper tray to work for a small office. You can only make up to 9 copies at a time and there are no reduce/enlarge buttons. If you are looking just to copy documents as they are, it's a deal for the price.

This is the 4th Canon copier I have had. The first three were the Canon PC140 copiers. I personally like having just a copier (or xerox machine as I tend to think of it) for quick copies. It is just plugged into an outlet as opposed to being connected to a computer for copying, scanning, faxing, etc. This copier can be placed anywhere.

The Canon PC-170 is extreamly simple to use for day-to-day letter size copying and the price was unbeatable.

I travel for business and needed a portable copier. Have been using a fax and finally decided to see if anyone made a portable copier. Canon seems to be the only one that I could find that makes a portable copier. This is so much better than the fax copier I've been using. Wish I would have made this purchase years ago. Copies are so much better too!
