Movie synopsis

A better-than-average WWII flagwaver, CAPTAIN OF THE CLOUDS is told from the point of view of the Canadians. James Cagney and his daredevil flying buddies enlist in the Royal Canadian Air Force thinking that years of dangerous aerial feats have acquainted them with mid-air derring-do. The brash leader gets stuck with a civilian air convoy, but matures quickly when faced with a heroic decision.

Dramatic and colorful saga of Canadian bush pilots and their tragic involvement in the air war in Europe during WW II. Slow to develop, the plot eventually comes around to the action with unexpected results for most of the characters. A must for pilots and Cagney fans and worth the time for history enthusiasts. Excellent quality presentation on DVD.

An historical video. I haven't seen a James Cagney film in many years. It's mainly a guy video but there is something there for the ladies also. If you are fond of old propller driven aircraft this is a must! This is a special video for me because my great great uncle, William Avery Bishop "Billy Bishop" had a part in it. Billy Bishop "The Kid Who Couldn't Miss" was a R.C.A.F. WWI flying ace. Good buy!

The acting is excellent and the flying aerobatics are great. You will never see that many operating vintage aircraft in one place ever again. The technicolour captured the Canadian wilderness at it's best. Very nostalgic. It's nice to see all the R.C.A.F. air bases and classrooms the way they were.

NO THANKS,...I'M NOT INTERESTED. Like eBay, I'm looking out for my own personal interest, just as eBay does. I have had enough personal negative experiences with this organization to realize that eBay's primary goal is focused upon itself, and to hell with the rest of humanity.

Some great footage of the actual area. I dont think you can beat James Cagney-always a great actor. His head was always in the clouds. A great movie.
