Caro's Book of Poker Tells
Created: 22/09/09
This book is a must have for poker players. If you are a good poker player but seem to get bluffed or fold winning hands this may be the book for you. Caro's Book of Poker Tells is based on the psychology and body language of poker. Written by Mike Caro the legendary "Mad Genius of Poker", who helped write The Super System with Doyle Brunson. This book has in depth detail to each poker tell. Using a title, category, description, motivation, reliability, value per hour, discussion, and best strategy for each tell. Not to mention a picture to give you a visual also. Personally I was having problems at cash games losing money due to the lack of ability to be able to play out of the box. Since i got this book and studied it. I have increased my ability to play out of the box and increased my bank roll. I hope it does the same for you.

This book Changed my Game more than ANY OTHER!
Created: 25/04/07
Mike Caro, who is also dubbed the Mad Genious of Poker, is by far the game's leading expert in poker tells and psychology! This book changed the way I looked at the game, my opponents, and how I act at a table. If nothing else, you will be able to better understand why certain people play certain ways at the Table.
This book will teach you to play the player not the cards! Personally, I think the psychological side of the game is far more important than the statistical side. Again I totally recommend this book for anyone looking to step their game up! Mike Caro also has several videos that are worth watching.

I bought two of these books - Paperback - one for my husband and another for my son. It's an excellent book which had been recommended to them and they both are extremely happy with the book - so, I's extremely happy with my purchase!

Perhaps I know too much?

Having heard so much about tells, I thought "Well, Mike Caro has a fine reputation for clever play, so why not?". I was dissapointed! Apparently, with my experience and knowledge, I should not have expected heretofore hidden secrets. The value of this book is not, to me, what it probably was before people "got wise". At the time it was written it was perhaps worth the price. Now it may reinforce what most experienced players know, i.e. pay attention to the actions/expressions of opponents and gather as much information as possible, with proper caution applied. Fun to read, but not especially valuable to those with experience.
