Chanel No.5 3.4oz Women's Eau de Parfum

My Mom wore Chanel No 5 and I grew up surrounded by the caress of this timeless classic. At one time I thought that perhaps it wasn't for me, but soon came to my senses after trying all the "hot" new scents which turned on my skin. Those fragrances were "green" and had no staying or lovely dry down power. Besides the obvious unmistakable unique scent, there is the mystique of wearing such a time-honored fragrance. Each time I touch the crystal stopper to my neck or wrists, I pay homage to my dear sweet Mom and to Coco Chanel for introducing me to such a gracious fragrance which I cannot be without.

Many years ago I worked in an airport duty free shop and could sample all of the world's best fragrances. Chanel No.5 became my absolute favourite.I really liked other scents too but nothing could compare to the most wonderful experience of carrying the aroma of chanel 5 with you throughout the day AND night. I won't even begin to try and describe the scent except to say that it is entoxicatingly sultry, dark, delicious, warm, hypnotic etc., etc........I so love this perfume!! I have even kept all of the glass bottles that held this exquisite fragrance, collectors items I'm sure but I just couldn't bear to throw them away!!
One thing that I do find upsetting is that the bath/body powder is not available any more. I truly miss dusting my bedding and myself of course, with it. I want the chanel people to come to their senses and put this fabulous product back on the store shelves!!!

This is a timeless light fragrance for a woman who thinks that she has everything! It's always a winner -- and commands compliment's whenever worn. Can be worn in the day when casual or with your finest eveningwear, You can't go wrong with Chanel No. 5!

Chanel No. 5. . .The definitive parfum. And who would expect to buy 3.5 oz. for $46? I was delighted to do so, choosing the scent as a Christmas gift for a family member. Furthermore, within three days of purchase, the package was in my mailbox, safe and sound. Where but on E-Bay would there be such a find?

Fake, I believe that they are made in China perfume. Pls check on Ioffer.com, they sell the same things (Chanel 5, Coco de Chanel,...) for around $30+, and these sellers are from China.

I bought one "brand new and seal Chanel 5" on Ebay recently, and it's fake. The seller refunded right away (I think he/she knew what she/he was selling). Many indications of fake Chanel have already been mentioned from previous reviews: but one obvious indication to me is on the bottom of the bottle, the prints are on a plastic sticker, as with real Chanel bottle, the print is on the glass itself that is impossible to be removed. Also, if you have a real Chanel cap, the cap will fit on any real Chanel bottle with the same size, while the fake Chanel bottle doesn't fit the real bottle. The scent is pleasant, but lasts for a very short time, and is far less pretty than the real thing.
