Chaos Legion, a Classic title, i bought this years ago but couldn't afford it at its launch price, as its launch price remained $49.99 for the longest time, (this was before i knew of internet shopping via amazon.com/Ebay) but when i did finally get this game and play it i wouldn't even compare it to DMC or the like, its a unique title on its own with its Gothic Elements and Amazing soundtrack with great and unique gameplay.
This is a PS2 action rpg classic that deserved to have had a PS3/360 sequel but overall if you still haven't played this classic, go for it now, twas one of the better games of the early 2000's and remains a really fun game to this day.

I originally bought this game years ago because of the reference to Devil May Cry on the back. I bought it again because more often than not, I can't put this one down. I love the game for its simple game play, but deep tone. Gothic themes resonate throughout the story and make up the heart of the game. Harnessing the power of various glyphs, Seig Warheit must withstand the evil that threatens his very existence. A fantastic musical score doesn't hurt things either. If you loved Devil May Cry, you'll fall in love with Chaos Legion.

very underrated title from years ago. its a diamond in the rough. Its been compared to Devil May Cry way too many times to even be accurate because they are completely different games. They share the hack and slash nature, but thats it, the protagonist in CL is more silent and serious than Dante from DMC. the entire gameplay structure revolves around strategic uses of different legions, make the wrong choice in the wrong battle and the odds are against you. If you are looking for a decent challenge and a unique experience, get this. the only problems i have with the game is the occasional lag in the menus and the empty level design. great game, action, and story. get it while it still exists.

Chaos legion made a somewhat huge impact in the PS2 gaming world 4 years ago. The cons were that it was similar to Devil May Cry series. I completely disagree. The game itself is hardcore surreal and the monsters, maps and level is difficult, even on easy. The music was exceptionally beautiful, it's appropriate for it's level and story.
If you're a gamer, wanting to remember the good games, or just reminice on how much you loved the game, then this is it for you. The story is beyond reasonable doubt, intriguing and interesting, well worth the price.

It's a very good game, and in my opinion beats out Devil May Cry 3 in all ways. It has alot of features from DMC3 that came out before DMC3 did. It has a better story, better characters, and gameplay all around. Yes, Devil Trigger is cooler than the summons, but that aside, this whole game is more fun to play than DMC. Sieg is amazing, his story is very emotional, but also really good. The antagonist is kind of fruity but also pure evil which is forgiveable! He gives a good reason to pummel with satisfaction. One of the most fun games I've ever played.
