After looking at screen previews of the PC version versus the Mac version, I would recommend the PC version. In my humble opinion, the PC version is better even though the Mac version seems to have better graphics. The only problem with having the PC version is that you have to switch into PC mode from the Mac menu. It takes some hard work to force yourself to play in PC mode instead of Mac mode. This is especially true when all your music CDs are in iTunes already! If I had the money, I would get it though just because it is Chessmaster and is known to have levels of play even a beginner like myself should be able to master. Oh... They are both good enough to have in your library when you are a chess fan. No matter what you choose, I pray you are always on the correct path.

    Product defective.

    Created: 27/12/09
This product is defective and will not install. I tried over and over with no success. Than I removed another program to see if it was my system. I reinstalled it with no problems. I'm not sure what's going on but this disc is defective. The description of the product said it was new. My 9 year old daughter said it was a used disc because there was no manufacturer's plastic seal. Next time I will ask quesitons, so I blame myself for this purchase.
