CHI GF1001 1" Ionic Black Hair Straightening Iron

I bought this for my daughter, she loves it. It straightens her hair better than any other I have bought her in the past. It heats very quickly and has an automatic shut-off. The plates are only one inch, but it straightens so well you do not have to go over the same section more than once, like with other irons. When this one goes out, I won't waste my time with the cheaper irons again, I'll be buying a CHI again.

I already have one of these and LOVE it. Bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law. This flat iron heats in seconds, leaves hair feeling healthy (not burned or crispy-looking). I use it in conjunction with a shine serum and my annoyingly wavy hair actually looks smooth and straight like those ladies in hair commercials! Can't recommend this highly enough - definitely worth the money.

Very nice hair straightening iron, but am finding the paddle too narrow for medium length hair and there is no temperature control dial. I would find a wider flattening surface better in general. But it is a nice iron, not stressful to the hair, and the effect lasts longer than other irons I have had.

I love this flat iron. I have really really thick hair and never thought my hair could be this straight and this shiny afterwards. It warms up super fast and doesn't require multiple passes over my hair to get the job done. I would recommend this iron to anyone who is thinking about getting one.

Love it! Excells far beyond any other straightener I've owned...and I've own quite a few! Haven't mastered using it to make curls, but the straightening is incredible, you don't have to restraighten throughout the day, like with some others.
