Childbirth Without Fear: The Original Approach to Natural Childbirth by Grantly Dick-Read and Helen Wessel (1994, Paperback, Revised)

This book provides the modern-day mother, with the confidence and peace she needs to have to labor a baby into the world. I got from this book the medical proof I needed to back up what I had read in another book Supernatural Childbirth. It was easy to read, and very informative. It offers other resources, and his case studies. He goes back into history to support in his thesis that the Bible never ment that labor was to be painful. It offers to the scared pregnant mother, what water offers the thirsty. I couldn't put this book down. I applied all of it to three births, and I can say I love Labor, and I don't need medicine for it to be pain free.
