Publisher's Note
The planet Lusitania is home to three sentient species: the Pequeninos; a large colony of humans; and the Hive Queen, brought there by Ender. But once against the human race has grown fearful; the Starways Congress has gathered a fleet to destroy Lusitania.

Jane, the evolved computer intelligence, can save the three sentient races of Lusitania. She has learned how to move ships outside the universe, and then instantly back to a different world, abolishing the light-speed limit. But it takes all the processing power available to her, and the Starways Congress is shutting down the Net, world by world.

Soon Jane will not be able to move the ships. Ender's children must save her if they are to save themselves.

In the conclusion of the Ender saga, Ender Wiggin confronts his ultimate challenge when his adopted world, Lusitania, is threatened by his old planet-destroying weapon, and his ally, Jane, is about to be killed off by the Starways Congress

The author of Ender's Game presents the conclusion of his popular series, The Ender Quartet, which pits an evolved computer intelligence against the Starways Congress in a fight to save the planet Lusitania. Reprint.

Industry Reviews
"Orson Scott Card has made a strong case for being the best writer science fiction has to offer."
Houston Post

"As a storyteller, Card excels in portraying the quiet drama of wars fought on the battlefields but in the hearts and minds of his characters."

Orson Scott Cards fourth installment of the incredibly powerful Ender's Game quartet is continues in the tradition of the latter three books. The eloquent prose and depth of perspective int the smallest nooks of the human (Ramen or maybe Varelse!)mind make for an intense read.
The story piucks up moments after the end of the third and more than satisfactorily wraps up all of the plot twists introduced in the first 3 books.

Children of the Mind is the fourth and final book in the Ender Series. It is truly one of the great accomplishments of OSC's fantastic career. Although all things must come to an end, I have to admit that it was extremely difficult for me to let go of this series (which is why I was so thankful for the creation of the Shadow Series). CotM will surprise you with how the incredible lives and stories of it's characters are brought to an end. I honestly believe that the book was hardly an end at all. I honestly feel that it was a new beginning, leaving the doors to the universe wide open to our own beliefs and interpretations. Long asked questions are answered, journeys are completed, and victories are had. However, new questions arise and new journeys begin, the lives of the characters will continue on, and some will not. This book will give readers the calming sense that our lives ARE important, and that our actions and existence in the universe CAN have a lasting impression in the weave of time. This book will excite, sadden, and have you on edge all at once. It will leave you wanting more, which is why i would suggest Ender's Shadow. The first book in the Shadow Series. It's a whole New world, and a Brand New obsession.

Childern of the Mind is the last of the sequeal to Ender's Game. Card did a freat job with this one, as always. This book is last action than Ender's Game, focusing on the characters more. I would recommend it to those who have read the first three book.
