Chinese Knots for Beaded Jewellery by Suzen Millodot (2003, Paperback)

I wanted this book because I am interested in creating jewelry with decorative Chinese knots. If that is your wish as well, it is an excellent informative book. Step by step instructions on several knots and ideas for jewelry. The only thing I dislike is that one of the knots is difficult for me, but that certainly is not the fault of the book. I highly recommend this book for someone interested in these useful and decorative knots.

Well organized presentation. Colorful examples with easy to follow instructions. This is a good choice for crafters or beaders. There is generally little information found on Chinese knots and this fills that gap very well.

I have been looking for an easy to use knotting book and I found it in this one!! There are easy to follow diagrams and the knots are beautiful. I can't wait to start making my jewelry. You won't be disappointed.

I saw this book on another website and wanted to see if I could find it for a less expensive price. I checked on Ebay and saw it advertised for much less than any other site I had checked. The book has great information, from how to pick proper string/thread/cord with which to make knots. It also has great photos, drawings, and wonderful project ideas. The text is reasonably easy to follow, but the excellent pictures and drawings more than make up for any ambiguity in the instructions. Great for knot beginners (like me) and more advanced crafters, since there are knots ranging from simple to very complex. The only thing I dislike about the book is the fact that it is a soft cover, as I prefer hard backs.
