Christina Aguilera - Stripped...Live In The UK (DVD, 2004, Amaray case)

Christina Stripped in the UK was the most unforgetable live concert DVD I've ever bought. The energy and hype that you get from just watching the first 5 minutes of it is amazing. The concert was sold out. Christina has very good taste in style and moves. She sang all her songs live, she didnt do tracks. She performed tons of amazing songs, you get to see her party with Donatella Versace , a few up close interveiws, and you get to meet her dancers and much much more! I couldnt believe my ears when I heard her sing live on this DVD. It auctally sounded like I was there at her concert! All Christina's outfits were very sexy and she wore them well. All the dancers were on track no one messed up. They all really had a good time. I am still amazed by this DVD and I had it since it came out. Every time I watch it or just listen to it I get chills!!

As we all know. Not all live performances are good (DVD or in person). So, when I purchased this DVD from amazon.com I was skeptical. The comments on amazon.com raved about Aguilera's performance so I decided to try it out.

The vendor took 20 days to send it to me so I ended up buying another one (have two copies now; eBay time!). Nevertheless, the performance and recording is nothing short of amazing!

The DVD is packed with great performances. But my three favorites are "Impossible (Alicia Keys rendition)," "At Last (Christina's ode to Etta James)" and the passionate "Walk Away." Other excellent performances is the rhythmic "Get Mine, Get Yours," the soulful "The Voice Within" and a creative remix of "Genie in a Bottle." All great!

Wow! 5 Stars!

Like her and was looking forward to watching a video of a live concert...

But this DVD is a disappointment. Specifically, the way it is edited. It changes from one camera to the next relentlessly. You can not count to three before you are viewing from a different angle, or looking at a different person, or pulled in close, etc, etc. Often the scene changes, literally, about once every second.

Makes you dizzy just trying to focus...the set, the dancers, the fog, the fire, the audience, the various lights, etc. The frenetic scene changing continues through ballads and even during the moments between songs when she says a few words to the audience.

I love this DVD! I decided to bid on this album because Christina Aguilera is one of my favorite artists. Plus, I've always wanted this DVD since it first came out!

This is an awesome DVD. She is an awesome vocalist and there is no one in the world like her. She is unique and don't care what anyone thinks about her.
