The Christmas Shoes (DVD, 2006)

This is a movie about a boy who's mother is dying. He wants to get her a pair of red dancing shoes for Christmas. When he goes to buy the shoes, he is $5.50 short. But, he does get the shoes, because there is someone who helps him buy them. (Can't tell you who, better watch it yourself!) By the end of the movie, there were a few tears in my eyes! I highly recommend this movie. Better have some tissues nearby, whether you are emotional or not. This will touch your heart. This movie shows how important family is.

i love this movie its about little boys mother thats dying he wants to buy her christmas shoes so when she dies she would look good to go to heaven well the sad part when he finally has the money but learns he short 5.00 when a man sees the boy is so hurt and confused he gives the clerk the rest of the money the man learns that christmas is all about love and giving also learns the true meaning of what christmas is all about

The Christmas Shoes is a terrific movie. I just love this movie.The storyline of this movie kept you interested in the movie. I like the Actors and Actress in the movie. It is a very touching and inspiring movie that is for young and old, it makes you realize just how quick something can hit a person and how some people can change their way of life. The little boy trying to raise money to buy his Mom the shoes really touched me, watching it makes you cry.
I bought the movie because my sister-in-law seen the movie and told me about it. Then I watched it on television and decided I had to have the movie so I could watch it whenever I want, not only at Christmas.

This movie was originally aired on television. Great holiday movie about a boy that loses his mom to heart disease on Christmas. Quick tear jerker. Noticably a made for television movie it raps up pretty quick. Not one of Rob Lowe's best roles. But it also starred the woman who plays the sister of that one lady on According to Jim. She's good. Sure to be a holiday classic (if you feel like a good cry).

I liked the song so I had to see the movie. Very sweet, The person Rod plays in the movie is a very selfish person. When the little boy wants to buy this pair of shoes for his mom but does not have enought money and askes him to help. This is when things change for the better for the person Rod plays in the movie. Very good movie!
