Chuck - The Complete First Season (Blu-ray Disc, 2008, 3-Disc Set)

Chuck is one of my favorite shows on tv right now. It's honestly one of the few shows I've watched where I realy enjoy the entire ensemble.

It stars Zachary Levi a Chuck Bartowski, a Nerd Herder (think Best Buy's Geek Squard) who was kicked out of Stanford. He lives with his sister Ellie and her boyfriend Devin, affectionately known as Captain Awesome. When a former friend of Chuck's sends him an email on his birthday, Chuck's life is forever changed. Imbedded in the email are the encrypted files of the CIA and NSA's super computer. The computer is destroyed and now the government's most classified files are in the head of a nerd who loves to play Call of Duty with his loyal and loveable best friend Morgan.

In comes NSA Agent Casey (adam baldwin) and CIA agent Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski). Are they friend or foe? Are they here to protect Chuck?

The show is full of a lot of elements I enjoy while watching television; there are great action scenes, and alot of comedy too. The chemistry of the cast is really great, as well as diverse. I don't want to reveal too much about the show but if you enjoy Get Smart and spy action with a bit of humanity and humor thrown in, I'd almost guarantee you will enjoy this.

Thi is absolutely my best TV serie of all times, well written, greatly directed and superbly interpreted by the entire cast: the mix among spy-action story, comedy and a touch of romance is perfect (and the second season is even superior)! The negative notes for this Blu-Ray edition are the not-so-good audio/video quality for the BD standard and huge lack of extra-contents (just some alternative scene, no outtakes or audio comments at all), but nothing that can ruin the view in the end. So, if you want to see something new, cool, fresh and higly-addictive buy this and the second serie and wait for the third season to come in the 10th January two hours premiere on NBC!

The show chuck is simply put off the hook! Its one of the best action comedic shows ever made period.
The blu-ray version is eye candy although there is still some dot-noise in alot of scenes.. it would be nice so the creators get rid of that for the second season blu-ray.

All in all fantastic show and blu-ray!

Chuck is one of the best shows on the air today . Never missed a show and a must have for fans on Blu-Ray . Can't wait for season two to come out !
