Chuck: The Complete Second Season (DVD, 2010, 6-Disc Set)

LOVE Chuck! I just recently began to watch the show and have completly fallen in love with not just the show itself but with the characters and the story line. Chuck has everything you need to make a great program, action, comedy, romance, mystery and all that good stuff. Zachary Levi fits perfectly as Chuck, the nerd gone spy! And Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin are great as Chuck's handler's Sarah and Casey. And rounding out is Joshua Gomez who plays Chuck's best friend Morgan, by far one of the best characters on the show, he's so funny and dare i say it a bit of a loser, but it makes him who he is and a loyal friend to Chuck. The writers are very consistent and the story line is very good. Recently only becoming a fan, i have to say it is now one of my favorite shows and i have caughten up with all 3 season's and now enjoying season 4! Please watch Chuck!

Chuck is a great show with a story arc that is at least four seasons long (the fourth season starts in September, 2010). I hope it goes five. There are three elements that combine to make this show great. The First element is comedy, the second is relationships and the third is intrigue or "spy-stuff." Great transitions between the civilian world and the spy world. Fun characters. Chuck's character develops more and more throughout the story arc. Just when it looks like one of the three elements are going to be eliminated, the writers come up with a brilliant way to keep it alive.
The only thing I don't like about my season two DVDs is that the second disc has three or four episodes that totally do not play correctly even though there are no scratches and no smudges or cracks. Whoever sold these to me deserves a really bad rating if I ever get around to it.

If Chuck's problems weren't bad enough in Season 1, now he even has to deal with his mother!! Just the right mix of humor and action along with characters that will be hard to forget. Totally impossible but totally enjoyable. The only real annoyance is the characters talking about spying and being spies in public places and passing on secret info to people who haven't had background checks. Yes, I know it's just make believe, but I used to have security clearances, and there are things you just don't do. A personal hang up that shouldn't keep anyone else from enjoying this series. Next stop is to buy Season 3.

Exactly what I had hoped for. Great condition, funny episodes and an overall enjoyable series. I bought this because I finished the first season and wanted more of the Chuck story. I like the bright colors and current music in the series, as well as the mix of impossible and mundane circumstances the characters interact in. It's simply a fun show with appropriate material for most audiences.

I saw this series when it first aired and loved it. There is so much action it's hard to take it all in. It's sometime corny but great entertainment value. My wife and I have been watching all of the old episodes and enjoy them the second time as well as the first. I can't wait until season 3 is released for sale.
