Cleveland Launcher 460 Driver Golf Club is a state of the art golf club with a head size of 460cc. Made of titanium; Cleveland Launcher 460 Driver Golf Club is classically designed with a deep face for a large effective hitting zone. This makes the Cleveland Launcher 460 Driver Golf Club also known as the launcher 460; more forgiving for beginners and helps the professionals better their best. With its centre of gravity placed low and deep, the launcher 460 ensures high angle launch and low spin, which make the Cleveland driver most suited for maximum carry and distance. So next time you go golfing pick up a Cleaveland driver and accelerate past your opponents.

This club hits so long its like an atom bomb

Created: 10/04/06
Wow, thats about all I can say. I found it a little harder to use than the Taylormade R360, but it sure hits a mile. If you take a full swing and connect fairly well with the sweet spot, it really goes an absolute mile, like watching a cannon. Its quite impressive.

Its designed really well, and is definately worth trying, it can hit some massive drives, and I found I could hit dead straight and/or with a slight fade. I found it hard to draw the ball, but I find it difficult to draw no matter what club, so thats no big deal.

The sheer feel of the club is quite confident, making you feel like you're about to slam down an atom bomb on the fairway. Its one of the most enjoyable clubs to use, because if you time it well, you really feel it fly off the face with gusto.

The shaft is very strong and I found Regular flex definately my preference, as the stiff in the Cleveland models I thought was quite stiff.

Hitting a high ball isn't a problem either, or if you prefer hitting low flight trajectories I found also quite easy by altering your ball placement, and the club really works well for either tries. Most drivers don't seem to perform so well on both traits, but I was quite surprised by this one.

I hope this review helps.

Cleveland Launcher 460 Driver Golf Club

This is a fantastic driver. It is from 2004, one of the first 460 cc drivers. They got it right way back then, because it gives me more distance than any of the latest model drivers I have tried. Extremely hot face that has a boring flight and rolls out much more the super deep cg clubs of today. It is weighted just perfectly, which really helps create great tempo. Specially considering you can pick one up for less than $50.

Cleveland 460 Launcher - love it!

Created: 21/12/05
I've tried quite a few drivers, and, for me, this is the best of the best. Was fitted on a Launch Monitor, use a ProV1 ball, am 57 yrs. old, 5'9, 185 lbs, 93-95 mph clubhead speed..... the 9.5* loft and R flex shaft gave me the best consistent results and distance.

I can hit fades or draws if wanted but have to work at it as the ball wants to fly high & straight. Decent swings get good results, good swings get excellent results.

Get decent feedback, can usually tell from the feel what kind of contact I made and where on the face. The head sits up well to the ball, alignment isn't a problem. It's not flashy looking like some which is fine with me, however my biggest knock on it is that I think the gold color of the stock shaft is king of ugly (no big deal).

The price is better than some, which makes the 460 Launcher an outstanding value in my opinion.

This Driver is helping this older round-belly keep up with a lot of the young flat-bellies off the tee. I had a 2.4 handicap 6-7 years ago, probably closer to a 10 now because I don't get out as much and have lost some consistency, but the foregiveness of the Launcher helps make up for my practicing less.

Enjoy!

Easy to hit and very long. Really enjoy this driver.

Easy to hit. Excellent looking driver. Have lowered my scores. Large sweet spot. Senior flex. A very professional driver to use. Several tour pros won tournaments with this driver. Easy to swing and not heavy or tiring to use. Made by a reputed golf equipment company. I have used this driver about 4 times in the last month and I am able to stay up with the big boys off the tee. I am 60 years old and can really put the ball way out there. Even off center hits travel a long distance. The more I use this driver the more of a believer I am becoming on the new technology. Before this driver I had a taylor made 360 which I thought I would never let go but this new driver has replaced it permanently. My confidence off the tee has truly risen.

Cleveland Launcher 460 Driver - Still a strong performe

Created: 07/06/07
Great Driver - still one of the classics. I bought the original one new 3 yrs. ago for $300, and it still keeps pace with the 2007 models that cost $450. The design is classic, with a great profile that uses full advantage of 460cc, without looking like a kids club. The response with the Aldila NV 65 shaft is immediate, and in a recent club test that I did with the newest Cleveland, Callaway (not the boxy 460) and Ping G5, I still put the Cleveland Launcher 460 ahead of all based on distance, accuracy and $$$.

I liked this club so much that I bought a couple of spares on Ebay to hold me over for the next several years.
