Fantastic club, extraordinarily easy to hit and control with a great feel.

The Cleveland Launcher DST HT 3W is even better than I had anticipated. The club feels great at address and swings as easy as any FW I have used before. Ball flight is high and distance is better than I anticipated for a 17 degree club. I would recommend all of the DST line of fairways based on my experience with this club alone. The stock Diamana Red R-fex shaft was another very surprisingly nice feature that exceeded my expectations.

CLEVELAND LAUNCHER DST 3WOOD
Created: 11/01/11
I have played at golf on and off for over two decades, even taken a few lessons, but never consistently enough to seriously improve. Now that I live where being outdoors every day is a real possibility, I decided to think (and step) out of the box and get a 3-wood that would suit my game better than the 'standard' Callaway Big Bertha that went with my Callaway irons. I hit consistently straight but do not have enough upper body torque for solid distance, and this club has really helped. I probably use my 3w more than any other tool in my bag, simply because my tee shots are so short, and because years of putt-putt have made the near-green roughs no mental challenge, so this Cleveland Launcher truly has lived up to its name and helped me out.

Fantastic Club

Great club. Better distance than my previous Cleveland Fairway Wood by 5 yards or more. No club alignment features on the head which is different than the older model. It looks as if the clubface is closed when you set up and it does seem to draw a bit, which I like. At the same time I can fade this very easily off the fairway.

Great 3 wood! Really helps get the ball in the air.

I've been having problems getting the 3 wood in the air so I looked for alternatives.
The Cleveland Launcher DST 17 deg 3 Wood solved the problem. I've been making good contact, getting it into the air, and getting good distance with it. Besides that, it's normally accurate. I can put a strong fade on it with a bad enough swing, normally it's straight on target.
This is a huge improvement over the fairway woods I've used. Take with a grain of salt since the most recent fairway wood I've used was the Titleist 980F mfg circa 2003-2005.

I was having problems with my TaylorMade R-9 hitting off the fairway. I wanted a more reliable fairway wood. I was looking for a 17 degree wood. I have never had a Cleveland wood, going with Callaway and Taylor mostly, so I took a chance on the Launcher DST, and it exceeded my expectations. I can hit it high off the fairway or the tee. I hit it as far as the 15 degree TaylorMade. Also I got a sweet deal from the eBay store. I am happy and optimistic about the potential of this club.
