Cleveland DST Tour Driver

) Always been a Callaway guy, currently playing an FT-5, also have an FT-3.
Came off the course last Saturday and walked into the "demo day" on the range.
Naturally went to the Callaway tent first and hit all their drivers. The rep. had me dialed-in to a new Diablo Edge Tour driver that I liked. I went and hit the Taylor,Titleist,Mizuno,and Ping drivers also. Next went to the Cleveland tent to hit their wedges. Also hit their DST Hybrid which I really liked. The Cleveland rep. asked me to try their DST driver. The non-tour driver has a 44 gram shaft and I did not like it at all. Hit the regular and stiff shafts, way to whippy for my swing speed, felt mushy and dead. He then said he had a tour version in his car I should try and he ran and got it. Night and day difference, it has a slightly smaller (430 cc) head and is two degrees open at address. The tour version had the Whiteboard 64 gm. stiff shaft with a higher kick-point, fit me perfectly. Had 9.5 degrees of loft but it did not balloon no matter how hard I hit it. Very nice mid/high, boring trajectory that I would expect to hit the ground and run a bit. I would recommend this club to low to mid handicap players. I just ordered one on ebay...

I actually purchased this driver by mistake. This particular club comes with two swing weights in the shaft a 64 gram and a super light 44 gram. I meant to buy the 44 gram weight shaft but made a mistake. It was a good mistake however. I am a golf club junkie and I would say the Cleveland Launcher is the best driver I've hit to date. I also just received my Cleveland Launcher 44 gram shaft club and cannot wait to hit it. I really bought this club as a referral but have since referred the same club to many others. I'm still in the honeymoon period and have not found anything to complain about with this club. All is good. Nothing I dislike about the club, all is positive. Some of my ratings above are not 5's but that has nothing to do with the performance of the product. I had several questions and the seller of this club was somewhat condescending to me in his/her reply. That is very frustrating for me. I know golf clubs but if your selling product no question is a dumb question and I was left feeling that I asked a dumb question. Also, no reason to use all CAPS in response which implies yelling.

Cleveland Launcher DST Tour Driver Golf Club

) I really enjoy the weight of this driver. Very light and effortless to swing. The voodoo shaft is nice and tight, not too whippy. The ball just jumps off the face and flies with only a 75% swing. I enjoy the workability of the 2* open face and the head has a nice quiet report when hit on the sweet spot. I recommend this driver for those looking for a light weight driver.

GREAT BUY---HITS THE BALL STRAIGHTER THAN ANY DRIVER I'VE EVER PLAYED. LITE WEIGHT BUT THE SWING WEIGHT HAS A GOOD FEEL TO THE OVERALL SWING.
