Cobra Electronics 29 NW LTD 40-Channels Base CB Radio

The Cobra 29's have been the backbone of CB radios.I like them because they are very well built and easy to modify.I personally take these radios,put in mod kits,echo,talk back and peak them out.I have owned just about every radio made and have used them in semi trucks where they are used every day with all the vibration and abuse you can imagine.The Cobra 29's lasted longer than any radio I ever owned.I would definitely recommend these radios to anyone!And when Cobra came out with the Night Watch series and Blue tooth models they blew the competition away.

The Cobra brand has always held a high regard in the CB radio market. The quintessential Cobra 29 is one of the most common CB's out there. The NW feature is great, and I appreciate that the entire 29 lineup has onboard SWR/RF. A great base rig, or to augment any other CB equipment you have. If only they made one in Yellow...

This is the best AM radio made for several reasons. 1, It has a unique audio section. It will benifet from a Top Gub Modulatio mod and the Top Gun Compresor better than most radios. 2, If someone feels the need for more power there is a part called a RFX-75. It will incress the power beyond what most people need without the proble for it.ms that are comon with others.3, everybody makes up grades.$, They are built strong and dont die if they are in a car or truck that is driven roughly.
If I gave it a rating of 1 to 10, it would be a 10+ for a am radio.

cobra 29 ltd nw was in bad shape and the night watch did not work at all this cb radio looked like came from a junk yard

had problems with a cheaper midland radio. Got a good deal on this and it works great. Great clarity, recieve and transmit strength are much better. The built in swr meter is awsome and accurate. Dynamic feature really changes your outut for others too. The nightwatch feature is beautiful at night without being distracting. Originally purchased for my girlfriends truck for forestry work. We like it so much I got another one for my personal use.
